VASHI VOICES

Role: Production Coordinator

“Lizzy Hadfield, Sharmadean Reid and Sarah Ann Macklin are challenging preconceptions in their own lives and industries – and they shared their stories with us. They talked of advocacy and activism, work and community, love and relationships.

And to celebrate Mother’s Day, we asked them about modern motherhood. Who has played that role in their lives? What responsibility do they feel to their communities? And how do they connect with Mother Earth?

We also invited them to curate and personalise a selection of Vashi pieces – jewellery that reflects their individual style as well as their passions, and that they can imbue with meaning.

Lizzy Hadfield is a fashion blogger and content creator at @shotfromthestreet, documenting her everyday life in street-style shots. She is also the co-host of the successful podcast (and soon-to-be-released book), Things You Can’t Ask Yer Mum.

Visit Vashi.com and join us on social to follow their stories.”

Sharmadean Reid MBE is an entrepreneur and author. Her businesses have helped to change the landscape of the beauty industry, and strive to economically empower women.

Sarah Ann Macklin is a model and nutritionist and whose not-for-profit organisation the Be Well Collective supports the mental and physical health of people in the fashion industry.
